The Great Garrick 1937
I’m only watching this because it was directed by James Whale. Not a great movie, but very cute. There’re some tell-tale Whale camera work AND the not-so-subtle relationship between Garrick and his “steward” Everett Edward Horton.

Godzilla Raids Again 1955
Never knew this film even existed. There’s some superb “aerial” photography, and the plotting moves fairly quickly. There’s a new kaiju never made it into the pantheon of good, scary, or interesting monsters (correct me if incorrect) It and this second Godzilla have some decent fights; though whereas in the original, film speed was increased to slow down the action, here and in many later features, the opposite occurs. It never looks good to me.
