This was… kinda really weird? Like, I didn’t hate it by any means, it’s always fun to watch this “time capsule”-type 90s movies. But for a movie about a music store, I thought the tone was a bit wacky.
Some story beats were just like completely absurd and took me out of it. I liked the absurdity to an extent but it has to pay off and I don’t think this got quite there. There was some decent soundtrack but the dancing and singing bits were very, very hard for me to watch, and I’m a cringe fiend.
Good cast, funny at times, interesting enough, decent.
