  Beautiful and visually stunning. The acting, the cinematography, and the production design was pristine. What this film lacked was the emotional heft to give this visually stunning piece some more weight. I generally love Guillermo Del Toro’s movies.   One of the most interesting character studies I’ve ever watched. This film, so tormented by tragedy and death, still manages to capture so much life in the world and it’s characters. Sidney Lumet is a true artist as he explores the psyche of a man who cannot be moved. Love this film❤️
