The Birdcage 1996
Been sick since Monday, and because of that have had to miss certain stuff I had tickets for this week. Nobody likes being sick, so it’s been disappointing and frustrating. This was a great thing to watch given all that, and just in general. What a beating heart this thing has! Williams and Lane are great together. Probably my favorite part of the movie was Williams trying to teach Lane how to be “a man”. Great stuff. And the charade during act 3 is really fun. Really engaged throughout and some really good laughs. So sweet! Laughter really is the best medicine.

Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me 1992
I mean...good lord. Really sad, really really sad. Really scary. And really beautiful. That ending snuck up on me and is a perfect way to end to the film. He loves people and so do his films.
