to quote another reviewer “this movie was made for one person. me. if you're not me, thats ok.” and aint that the truth…. it checked all the boxes: my softspot for kammerspiele, my (not so) hidden love for broadway, andrew scott with an american accent AND bobby and margaret? crazy
young stephen sondheim was slightly gimmicky but totally worked on me. i also recognize that it could very well have happened this way.
