Gasoline Rainbow 2023
Coming of age movie that falls flat from a lack of direction. I can see the parallel between the lack of direction and the post-high school feeling of freedom, but I wanted more from theme. The film attempts to explore various personal issues among the main characters of the film, but none feel fully fleshed out. These may have been better shown to the audience as opposed to being handed everything through fly-on-the-wall exposition.
