  annual rewatch. i just love how this movie makes me feel. for every moment its depressing or awkward, its balanced by just how tender and sweet the movie is. im always given a warm fuzzy feeling anytime the score is played. something ive always appreciated about this movie is just how human it feels. love makes us awkward and cringe. it captures the essence of a relationship. theres so much to this movie i could write a thesis on it.…

  to the russos: just put the avengers on the screen bros

  perhaps i treated 'ready player one' too harshly. at least spielberg knows how to make a cohesive movie even when its slop. i cannot believe this cost 320 million dollars to make. its the most cookie cutter generic dystopian sci-fi story. theres no likeable main cast. kind of an issue when your CGI characters are more likeable than your two leads.

  why was millie bobbie brown in this. she doesn't even watch movies.

  I remember watching this in high school and not understanding what it was truly about. I honestly thought he was just a psycho killer trying to fit in.   Prometheus 2012

  There are some genuinely really interesting concepts revolving around human creation and philosophy. What drags this all down is the tie in to the Aliens universe. All the mystery regarding the Space Jockeys, Xenomorphs, and H.R Giger's bio mechanical designs are thrown out the window in favor of some buff albino humanoids. I will have to say that Michael Fassbender was born to play weird freaks. Prometheus & Covenant dispelled a lot of the cosmic elements of the original Aliens franchise.
