  LOVED this movie. One of the best acting ensembles of the year—and very funny. Has so many beautiful themes on family, race, and success. Jeffrey Wright gives a career-defining performance and deserves all the praise—so does Sterling K. Brown. I am shocked this is Cord Jefferson’s directorial debut—he keeps his actors on the same page. It’s stunning character work. If you want a movie with a smart screenplay, strong acting ensemble—and a few laughs—check this film out. It’s one of the best of 2023.
