Really solid police thriller that ties in well to the currently heated political and social environment. Bases it’s plot off mass shootings. Out of the norm usual cop portrayals, making the characters have layers and be interesting. Not on Sicario level, but very good watch honestly. It’s on Netflix!

A Different Man 2024
I am glad I watched this movie as it is very different from the norm. The title says it all, though it acts more like a question as the movie progresses. It tackles its plot interestingly and does not shy away from taking its time. For me personally it had it’s pro’s and cons with the pacing, though I feel it’s a matter opinion on my behalf. I did have a hard time following it at times, but to me it seems the director is playing mind games with the audience. Definitely a film class movie!

Super fun time! I respected how much homage it made to Fox proprieties. Hugh Jackman is born to play Wolverine, he will always get it right. This duo was fantastic to watch!! I wish it had more visual flare, I really don’t know why Marvel movies ALL look the same. Cinematography in earlier Marvel movies were superior, but that’s a separate discussion. The plot was very similar to any other multiverse movie, I thought the villain was cool. The characters and their scripts made the movie great though!

I am very disappointed with this film. It lacked a lot for me to be invested in the characters, be sacred, and also the story. A lot of the times, the film felt like it was trying to be provocative just to for the sake of being provocative. It could’ve been so much more if there was layers to what was going on. Characters saw 0 progression to what was actually going on. In comparison to a movie like Silence…
