  Insane level of detail and world building. Was fun to see a huge budget and cast thrown at a surrealist constraint. Not sure why it had to be a bizarro Victorian era. Felt like it couldn’t really escape the male gaze it was critiquing. Ended up feeling like I was mansplained at the whole time.
