Booksmart 2019
Kind of wish this movie took itself more seriously. It has a fairly well-developed plot and plenty of likable characters, but the scriptwriting is lazy and the warm and fuzzy ending (we’re all friends forever! Yay high school!) left a bad taste in my mouth. Also can we please stop letting 30 year olds play teenagers? It’s off-putting.

Fight Club 1999
On my fifth(?) rewatch of this film, observing it with my boyfriend who skeptically watches maybe 10 movies per year, I enjoyed it less than ever before.

It’s a wonderful movie!

Hit Man 2023
That’s it, I’m done trying to watch Glen Powell movies. My boyfriend, his brother and I couldn’t even finish this film and unanimously agreed it was the worst movie we’d seen in a while.
The plot was moving at a GLACIAL pace and the script was so bizarre. I hated everything about this movie. Can we all please do better?
