  Dune: Part Two 2024

  I’ve been thinking a week about how I wanted to review this film and I am slightly lost for words.
  I can start by describing it as monumental. “Dune: Part 2” is layered, awe-inspiring, and powerful. I couldn’t help but sit back and take it in - the story, the visuals, the sound, Hans Zimmer’s score - and just appreciate its beauty. 
Denis Villeneuve has raised his own standard and (dare I say) has contributed to the highest standard of moviemaking.

  Society of the Snow 2023

  Very strong film. Great cinematography and amazing acting. The story is gripping too, and it’s hard to believe it’s real. If you’re looking for a survival movie sprinkled with moral dilemmas regarding to what extent survival is justified, watch it.

  A good watch with great performances all around, some scenes were haunting and vivid,

   but the movie felt long.

  There is the feeling of build-up, but without a worthy pay-off.
  The soundtrack also seemed repetitive and lazy. It didn’t really encapsulate the Osage or the time period uniquely. Horrifying things happen at times in the film where the soundtrack gives a conflicting tone.
