I kept waiting for Ruffalo to say: "My baby's got sauce." Alas, never happened.
A little too on the nose with the MAGA/Trump/Elon allusions, but the fact that the characters and plot weren't that unbelievable strikes a chord of sadness. Truly love Pattinson for being all in on everything and Bong for always having something to say about our society worth pondering. I drove home thinking about a lot of things:
a) am I afraid of dying?!?!
b) nobody is expendable, even though governments often disagree

The Wild Robot 2024
Lots of good moments and the art is really beautiful. Parts of it look like living paintings. I think it tried to fit too many themes in and didn't give any one of them enough time. Much of it felt somewhat contrived (this is the scene where adversity happens! this is the scene where the underdog gets to shine! this is the scene where a great sacrifice is made!) but what is there really to complain about? I laughed. I cried. I ate junior mints with my daughter. Thank you, Roz!
