The Brutalist 2024
Adrien Brody… the man that you are…
This movie has so much going for it. Cinematography, lighting, ACTING! The first half tells a beautiful story that’s super put together and well done.
After the intermission it just kind of crumbles for me. It’s still aesthetically pleasing, acting is still phenomenal, but the story… it just dwindles and almost jumps around?
Overall I enjoyed it. Felicity Jones had a stellar performance, Adrien Brody acted as if his life depended on it, Guy Pearce was woefully unpleasant (in a good way) just really wish the 2nd half was… different.

The Truman Show 1998
Yeah this movie rocks. Definitely one of my top 5 favorite movies. Jim Carrey really showing off his acting skills in this one.
When I first watched this movie, the only movies I had seen of Carrey's were the Ace Ventura Pet Detective movies (which are hilariously fantastic) Seeing him in this type of role just really hit me at my core. Great movie, great actor, great time.
