Dull and pointless with very little redeeming qualities to show for, yet I can't bring myself to hate it. it's so bizarre how I can enjoy a film so much while not being invested in the main narrative at all really. it speaks to PTA's direction that I can confidently say I'd rewatch this film often. the parts that really stick out to me are just the "subplots" that come up randomly through the narrative.
