Godzilla Minus One 2023
The human story is a tad lackluster at times but then I actually teared up at the end. Beautiful and pretty badass when GZ’s around, loved the 1940’s setting. The rest of the time I was mesmerized by Hidetaka Yoshioka’s incredible hair, DAMN that curly grey & round glasses combo is flames—saying this as an only 7% Queer man. Maybe 11%.

Wild Wild West 1999
From a 2025 standpoint, entirely unwatchable. All flair and no liveliness.

Soft Liquid Center 2023
God, I loved this. It absolutely won’t be for everyone, but those for whom it connects will find so much satisfaction here. Ultra slow burn, it puts you into a kind of trance, then occasionally yanks you out of it.
