Sing Sing 2023
Beautiful, authentic, and humane. A powerful film about being what you want to be, finding yourself and realising how authentic it becomes from within. We are not refined to the systems of stereotypical oppression. Art comes from within the soul and we must find beauty no matter how hard life gets. Immense yourself in it and you will always appreciate it. I was expecting a generic Oscar bait film but this is amazingly written and directed. The acting is powerful and authentic. Overall very touching,

The Brutalist 2024
Brutalist, my brutalist. Whether it’s the architecture style or systematic racism of immigrants living under a capitalist society, the word takes on many forms for this film.
You have to appreciate the grandiosity of this film. Unfortunately its self indulgence gets lost on me in the latter half. It tries to be too many things at once, which lets to its demise and messy ending. It should be more cohesive given its epic runtime.
The use of AI, even if it’s just for voice acting I absolutely detest. Where do we draw the line by allowing it into an art form.

Blue Velvet 1986

The innocence of youth on the backdrop of a dark suburban nightmare. Nobody turns the weird and ugly Americana into something so beautiful and dreamlike than Lynch does.
This generations…
