Having just served my own extended jury duty (albeit one where, thankfully, I didn't realize halfway through that I was the murderer) I found the actual deliberation—and even the make-up of the jury itself—to be surprisingly close to my own experience. There are people who are WAY too into playing detective, people who really don't care which way they vote, and people who desperately want to finish and get home to their family.
Overall this was just way smarter than I expected it to be, with some genuinely surprising moral choices, in ways both good and bad, by the characters. Great final shot, too.
