another blockbuster with nothing left on the cutting room floor, giving an excessive Part 1 runtime that tests the resolve of those not already familiar with the musical. But Wicked is an enjoyable spectacle nonetheless; colourful and glistening CG visuals aside, it's the faultless cast and energetically choreographed numbers that dazzle.
