  Totally Killer 2023

  Totally loved this movie. It understood the assignment and delivered. Kiernan Shipka has been a fun actress to watch since seeing her play Sabrina. Probably not for everyone, but I put this one in the same style as Happy Death Day, Freaky, Ready or Not, and Scream. A fun slasher film with heavy comedic undertones.

  The Exorcist: Believer 2023

  Going into this movie I was already invested emotionally in the father daughter relationship.  The underlying theme of “belief” is evident from the opening scene to the very last scene of the movie.

  As a stand alone movie this would’ve been near perfect, but bringing back Ellen Burstyn felt unnecessary to the story and could’ve been left out entirely. I think this actually hurt the movie.

  Go into this movie with as little knowledge of what happens as possible. The fun of this one are the wtf moments that keep you guessing what in the actual heck is going on.

  This movie was everything I hoped it would be but surprised me with the eerie Halloween visuals. I was expecting low budget, but the only thing that could've been improved was the CGI. Has a very Barbarian feel to it.
