  I’m so sorry but this movie is a hot mess

  I loved Ken but his arc outshines Barbie's in a lot of ways and leaves me feeling like the plot lacked focus and was spread too thinly. There's just too much going on, and a lot of characters felt like wasted potential, especially the mother and daughter.

  I can appreciate the desire to use the movie as a platform for a feminist message but I wish they showed more and…

  I watched this one at the 2022 Reel Asian Film Fest,

  This is one of the most unique and experimental documentaries I've ever watched. It's a whole experience worth savouring.

  The use of subtitles in this is handled with so much care and intention, adding much-needed context and emotion to what you end up seeing.

  Also enjoyed seeing more queer Tamil representation :))
