Fuck off Saoirse how are you this talented? I loved all of this & in a very reductive sense it's everything a film should be. The ending, especially, left me feeling healed; serenity, courage, & wisdom.

I agree the appropriate Trump take-down is the one where you paint him with the appropriate farcical absurdity, but I also lovedhated some of the over-clarifications: the bullet grazing the cheek; the sentence structure and speech patterns; the fake tan, I quite liked. It's very cool to see aliens that are completely, well, alien and transgress the bipedal 1960's Doctor Who vibe.

The Brutalist 2024
A very very good film. Unsurprisingly I loved the shots of buildings, design, industrial infrastructure, which cut through the shaky noise and angst of many of the other shots with a clarity and emphasis that really demonstrates the power of the architecture. A kind of architecture within an architecture, I suppose.
