John Wick vibes here and Mads stole the show with a very sombre performance, but couldn't help but keep thinking Matt Lucas was going to break out with a "yeah but no but". I think that was an error from the casting crew for me. Netflix producing another enjoyable film though.

To think that this film is over 20 years old is incredible. Pixars animation still holds up to this day and is quite frankly better than some of today's poorer attempts. A zero to hero plot told excellently with charming characters thanks to the writers and top notch voice acting. Watched this with my gorgeous 4 year old daughter on a cold night in front the fire made for another precious movie experience together.

Extremely complex narrative but so freaking great. PTA you master. Recommend complete focus even subtitles and a second watch. Joaquin Phoenix is sooo good.

Watched The Thing for the first time with Arrow Video's new upscaled 4k release, and I must say it looked absolutely fantastic. The movie itself is great, the setting, the characters, John Carpenters directing are all top notch. Very impressed with the special effects, very creepy. The tone was tense complemented by its mysterious score and it had great pacing. A classic masterpiece.
