Not a fan of this one. Normally a big Di caprio fan but this film just doesn’t do it for me. Very dark and deep and I can’t help but feel it doesn’t really work.

I’ve said before I’m not a massive sci fi man, but woooo what a film this is. Mankind’s first contact is spearheaded by the language specialist Louise. As she gets to grip with the “aliens” seemingly complicated method of communication, her mind starts to wonder and seemingly falls out of reality.

A very intense/heavy watch. Not a film that you watch for enjoyment but albeit still brilliant. With drug abuse and addiction at the heart of the film, our protagonists spiral out of control. A must watch if you like your content heavy and rich.
