  Ridley Scott is a director that understands how to create atmosphere.
  Los Angeles in 2019 is claustrophobic, smog-engulfed, and littered with disused buildings that are too large to demolish. Technology has become so advanced that companies have the ability to display their brand, twenty meters wide, onto the surfaces of brutalist skyscrapers. The Tyrell Headquarters stands prominently, built with a certain homage to the Pyramids of Giza: a true monument constructed of stone and magnitude - this structure indicates the real presence and power that the Corporation holds.
