    Holy Fuck. Maybe I’m still just high on the spirit from all the holy-ghostin’ I did in the theater while watching this, but this is easily my favorite movie of the year and I think it deserves the Oscar for Best International Film. Somehow manages to seamlessly blend Emmerich, Spielberg, Honda and Nolan to make a beautiful monster movie about survivors remorse and insurmountable shame. Couldn’t believe how invested I was in the human characters in a Godzilla movie!
