  The accuracy and details! Watching the movie was incredible. The battle sequences, themes, and set pieces are all top shelf. Another thing I loved has been reading about the effort taken to present a fictional story as historically accurate. After watching this movie ,which you should seriously do, I would recommend watching and reading further about the movie and its accuracy. I hope to read the Patrick O'Brian books that the movie is based off of at some point soon. Very good movie, I now crave more nautical films in this period!

  Fantastic color, atmosphere, costumes, and action. I feel that the exposition that other reviewers have mentioned seriously pays off. It builds up to an offering of a thrilling and dramatic film. It also felt necessary and didn't feel all that tedious. Loved it.
