My Stand-In 2024
the whole series was painful to watch. The main couples relationship is toxic all the way through. The only reason it doesn't get a lower rating it because of the ending. The ending in many ways morally redeems the series. Watch with a spoon of salt, perhaps a cup.

It's low budget and the acting is at times lacking, but this film will forever hold a special place in my heart. It's an all ages, multifaceted, cute love story between two college students. It's a great introduction to Thai lesbian culture, and the specific ways societal stigma and gender identity play out. In a world where cinema tends to focus on the overtly sexual aspects of queer love this movie is a pure summer breeze. A breath of fresh air with a happy ending I can always believe in.
