Scary Movie 4 2006
surprisingly, this wasn’t as bad as i expected, it’s better than the 2nd and probably on the same level as the 3rd.
the story was tolerable, definitely some very random choices of what to parody in this, but i somewhat enjoyed it. it does get to the point where the jokes are too predictable or don’t hit as good when they are reused.
kevin hart and brenda are perfect. the saw and brokeback mountain segments are pretty funny, but the majority of the rest of the film is just too dumb.

Scary Movie 3 2003
this is significantly worse than i remember, but it still has some iconic moments.
the scene with brenda fighting the girl who comes out the tv and the michael jackson joke is still hilarious.
but i just think it suffers the same fate as the previous one, where the story is not captivating enough for it to actually be enjoyable all the way through.
i have not seen the last two films yet, but i have a feeling they will be a rough watch. 😅

this is an insane decline in quality. 10% of this is actually funny and really doesn’t do the whole jokey horror thing like the 1st.
i will be honest some scenes are hilarious, but the overall flow and story of this just dragged and wasn’t enjoyable at all. it makes you realise how good the first one was.
plus ray and shorty carried this film, they never miss, and the beetlejuice cameo was beautiful.
how does this possibly get worse from here?!?!?
