  Populist narrative, well packaged to arouse the hindu nationalists, confuse the general audience by jumping on to the bandwagon of full breasted Maddock films who just wants to encash while they’re at it.

  But Vicky Kaushal is Jim Caviezel and Chhaava is his The Passion of the Christ.

  Let me talk about it in two parts, firstly craft-wise I loved the eerie music, the colors (esp the rust green), the costumes. While The Ghost Story tested my patience at times this was more fast paced and David lowery films are meditative to the extent, I found it relaxing. 

  What I felt while watching it was that I saw a man with flaws in Dev patel’s Gawain and often times you don’t see that. I was able to feel with the character. Such a beautiful performance by Dev patel.
