Good premise (tragic Disney faitytale) but it tries to explore too many complex things in 90 minutes on top of needing to stay unter a PG rating. Taking a quote from a classmate "I looked it up; this film had an absurd number of executives attached to it. So it's like they kept throwing more and more ideas at the writer and this was the result."

The Empire Strikes Back 1980
Han and Luke are dual protagonists, but low key Han is kinda main character for most of this movie. It feels to me that his plot is A until that bit where he gets really cold, then Luke's B plot becomes A plot even though he wasn't necessarily B plot to begin with bc Luke is the one with a character arc. Breaking lots of screenwriting rules here, but it works!
