Okay so tough to come to a confident and clear feeling on this film after the first viewing because it felt like there’s so much to unpack.
This is without a doubt a hefty story showing America just like it is, a capitalist country built on braggadocio, so well portrayed by Guy Pierce.
Loved the incorporation of the political backdrop and use of wartime radio and music as a patina for Lazslo’s rise up. Very keen use of the intermission…
