  Fun way to microdose pining if you’re watching this for the first time as a happily married 30-something who hasn’t yearned unrequitedly in a decade. I can see how watching this initially as a hormonal, touch-starved teen might permanently alter someone’s brain chemistry. Special shout outs to Keira Knightley’s jawline (awooga), the funny camera guy, and the fog.

  It took my brain a second to wrap itself around the animation, but I got there eventually. The backgrounds were beautiful but the dogs’ jaws really just kept catapulting me out of things. 

  Aside from that: loved this. Cute little creation myth wrapped in what really felt like a nature doc. Slow at times but I didn’t mind. A+ environmental storytelling.
