The Wild Robot 2024
Loved this from the moment Roz went crab mode. Also I was impressed by how much emotion this robot could express despite having such limited eye movement, and not having a mouth, eyebrows, nose, nor forehead. Missed opportunity to play Breakaway by Kelly Clarkson when goose is learning to fly. Overall so cute.

Overall, I did enjoy this. Vocals slayed for the most part, but some bits were just over-the-top pitch corrected which took away feel and emotion from the words and the songs themselves. Cynthia is a starrrrrr, though I felt she was holding back. I wish she had acted in a more dramatic way as if performing on stage rather than for the camera. Ariana’s version of Galinda was too serious and not as goofy and witty as I had hoped.…
