Unique style of found footage that I thought demonstrated a solid day-to-day life of LAPD. Sometimes it took me out of the moment when it switched off of that style, but I still think it was innovative.
The chemistry and dialogue between the Jake and Michael felt like they had been doing this for years. A couple of directional choices and story choices could have made this even better.
Obviously this film makes you want to look into your family heritage and explore its past. The deeper level that this film talks about is how everyone experiences pain in a different way. Benji is more blatantly expressing himself and David bottles it up.
Eisenberg does a wonderful job writing, directing, and starring in this film. Worth a watch just to see the beauty of Poland and the music.
People that review that critically and harsh need to take in what this short film is trying say. It encompasses life from a perspective that we should all strive for.
