Another Round is such a unique and original film that is masterfully directed by Thomas Vinterberg as we see 4 teachers, who all decided to take part in a drinking experiment yet they are all struggling in some aspect of life which as you know alcohol + depression isn't the best mix. Vinterberg does a tremendous job of blending the hilarity and happiness with the Sadness and depression as the film balances very well. A very outlandish type plot that just worked.

Moonlight excels at storytelling and depicting the struggles with identity, sexuality, bullying, addiction, and masculinity in one characters life throughout three acts titles Little, Chiron, and Black. All 3 have impactful messages layered throughout as we see ones adolescence, teenage years, and adulthood challenged throughout. I personally liked Act 1 and 2 more than act 3 there was Something I felt lacked from act 3 other than the scene with "Black" and his mom, and the ending.

This was such a beautiful film, capturing the struggles of adapting to life without sound and the mental, emotional, and physical tolls it takes on you. Riz Ahmed and Olivia Cooke put on brilliant performances, the final scene is so impactful.

This was a touching emotional and heartwarming film that explored cultural and complex family dynamics. Awkwafina was excellent in this putting foward an impact impactful performance as she struggles with this lie that her family is forcing her to go along with. I thought this was an easy yet thought provoking watch.
