This is a bad movie and gets my full scorn.
Awful story, mediocre editing, mediocre acting, mediocre cinematography.
About a woman who was sexually assaulted as a child and is unable to have an intimate relationship with her husband. She has fantasies where she is raped and violently assaulted at her husband's direction. I'm neither a fan of biopics nor Christopher Nolan, so I went into this with extremely low expectations. I cannot overstate how much I hated this film. Having already wasted 3 hours on the film, I'm loath to spend much time writing a review. So I'll just leave a few brief notes for myself should I need to reflect back on what a terrible fucking movie this is.
