  Staying in a hotel for work and this was on so decided to watch it. Some okay visuals & action sequences but a real fall from how good and timeless the originals are. Dull, uninteresting and unnecessary

  Lacked some aspects that the first had to have it on the same level, but still a great watch. The Elle and I chapter is a real standout, and the entire ending sequence is done so so well, the conversation with Bill is just so good, one of the all time great duologys’.

  The first half of this was genuinely incredible, however it did lack something in the second half to maintain the level already set.

  The whole ‘strive for the American dream’ angle was done really well and every performance was really really solid. The overall score and some of the shots/cinematography were genuinely astounding at times but, as much as I don’t really have any negative comments about the film (bar the use of AI) it just, for whatever reason, didn’t stand…

  Just, wow. How Sandra Hüller did not win the Oscar for this is beyond me, an absolutely incredible performance from her that had me completely hooked. This was a real deep dive into relationships and how they work & often don’t work, how things said in arguments can be meant one way but taken another, how emotions come into play and we say things we don’t mean, and really speaks to their complexity.
