The movie can best be described by the following scene: at one point, the four children go into a wonder emporium tchotchke house at 4 a.m. where there is a party going. They are there bc the magical child Petal remembered Angelina the chicken has a speckled egg, which they need in order to bake a blueberry pie for two of the children’s sick mother.
