This is one of those movies that I enjoyed more than it deserves. They do not give the characters enough time to develop, as we only see the moments that they film since it is a found footage type movie. The Descent 2005
The film starts as a generic 'friends go on an adventure until peril finds them', but takes a surprisingly good turn towards a tense, unrelenting struggle to get out alive. It has its fair share of predictable jump scares and story beats, but it does not tarry on them long; it throws them at you and moves on.
