it was good to rewatch this after many years. idk if it was the coffee i had earlier or if it was laced with drugs or something but i feel like i had a real enlightened experience with this. from the acting and music to the writing and directing, every component fits so well into the essence of the story and message.

what i really love about this movie is its message, which it lets you know in the first several minutes: life’s not about buying this or that, it’s about living…how you spend your time and with whom. it’s sort of a metaphysical joke that it literally shows how the journey is worth more than the destination ❤️
