Thor 2011
Thor: there are gods. And they’re sexy.
Everyone in this movie is hot which makes it incredibly watchable. Great chemistry in this cast so hats off to the casting director.
I love both mythology and the back of the class cool boy and this movie has both. I’ll be honest I fell asleep while watching it but hey that was on me, not the movie. I’ve always liked the Thor story. Who knew Kenneth Branagh could do superhero’s? And then…Translated from by -
The Incredible Hulk 2008
This one is a blast from the past. I’m talking full scenes in the opening credits, I’m talking mark ruffalo who?? This is Edward Norton’s one big role in the MCU. It’s the only one of these movies NOT on Disney plus. He has an anger issue…and a special secret. And a pretty bad haircut.

A disappointing sequel featuring a pre-hair-graft Elon musk cameo, a one-off villain inspired by (get this) the death of his father, and a bit of a throwaway man-vs.-self plot.
Saving graces include: pepper potts falling in love, the weirdly helpful and sassy villain’s dialogue, and scar jo.
Aesthetic: 3.5

Captain America: The First Avenger 2011
Captain America’s real superpower is being a nice, harmless looking white guy. The serum just makes him a super nice, tall, hairless, buff white guy.
Aesthetic: 3CGI is minimal, colouring is all over the place, but you can tell they still cared how the movies looked back then. villian makeup is some of my favourite of the whole MCU. Nostalgic :,)
