  Prequel to the Detective Chinatown Series and is the reason why I've started reviewing this series.

  This is one of the WORST MOVIES I've seen in YEARS

  1. Full on Chinese Patriotic movie that saids 'F America' but somehow misrepresents and racist towards indigenous Americans?!?!?!

  I'm all for Patriotic films but in this chill, Comedy, Detective series?!?!?! Whoever made this film must of been drunk. Storyline 0.5/10

  Detective Chinatown 3 2021

  This is where it goes downhill I guess.

  Lazy writing, completely ditched a theme within the film. Focused too much on comedy and lost it's magic.

  Straightforward case with random plotlines and events that tries to stretch the movieverse (for future films?)

  Overall, still funny but the detective aspect and plottwists were below avg for this series.

  This is on the same level as 'The Spidermans'.

  I think the only thing SpiderMan has on this movie is HISTORY; familiarity with the character (spiderman) and the storyline (thanks to Marvel with like 50 years of exp writing this SuperHero up)

  One of the best Chinese movies ever made. It checks all the boxes for telling an emotional and touching story that critiques society.

  I personally couldn’t hold back my tears during this movie (and I usually try my best to hold them in).
