  I’ve been really into animated films that make me sob uncontrollably — this one without a single word being spoken— did numbers. Such beautiful yet heartbreaking themes and scenes. My bf called me the Capybara (pretty high compliment if you ask me).

  There’s an enormous amount of intelligence and thoughtfulness placed into the cinematography, a very rare thing. You can stop this movie at any part in its 139 minutes and get the many different stories and themes interwoven in this film. An ineffable amount of care put into carefully telling this story — just incredibly heartbreaking.

  The dark side of the moon / reoccurrence of the alligator vs the moon landing shots show the dichotomy of the “progress” that we boasted…
