Dumbo is another iconic beloved film that saved the Disney company for its financial issues in order for it to stay in business with a low budget with a very short runtime. The story is very creative, the humor of it is hilarious, its visuals are stunning, and the music was great with the Baby Mine song being the saddest Disney song ever. I also loved the voice acting especially from Sterling Holloway and Verna Felton, both of whom would…

Finally got my Disney Plus logged in which is why I slowed down this month, so I apologize for that. Anywho, Fantasia is one of the greatest Disney old school films of all time with a mixture of live-action of orchestra and featuring anthologies of animation. My personal favorite is The Night of Bald Mountain and even today, it’s the scariest shit I’ve ever seen because of the Chernabog. While it’s a beloved film, it failed to make a profit in Europe because World War II affected marketing.

Besides seeing clips of it, I don’t know why it took me so long to watch it, but this is surprisingly the very first time that I saw La La Land given the great word of mouth for this movie! Since I’m a big musical guy, this is hands down the best original musical I’ve ever seen and definitely one of the best films of 2016! Fresh off the success of Whiplash, Damien Chazzelle did a fantastic job directing as…

This is phenomenal! Nicolas Cage who won an Oscar for Best Actor and Elisabeth Shue who was nominated for Best Actress have great chemistry, the tone is very unsettling in a magnificent way, the themes of alcoholism and suicide were taken seriously and handled very well, and Mike Figgis did a terrific job with the script and direction. I’ve also seen clips of it from the music video of Master of Puppets by Metallica and even I knew how unpleasant it is for Cage’s character to drink so much even while drunk driving and how much he would purchase expensive alcohol beverages at a store.
