  I really feel like we let the character of King Kong occupy so much of our attention in this movie that we don't have the right amount of brain space to process that this is a movie about how Jack Black discovers dinosaurs. We get so caught up in the story of the monkey we don't really get to wonder why Jack Black didn't find the t-rex's interesting and try kidnap them as well. Like, in this movie Jack Black literally discovers the braccheosaurus. This was closer to being Jurassic park on steroids than it was curious George. 3.5/5

  One of those movies you enjoy immmensely in the moment and then the next day have forgotten the entire plot line but you know it was definitely good when you were watching it
