  Enjoyable Thursday afternoon watch!  I really had to focus initially to understand all the English accents, but got better as the movie progressed! Could probably even watch a second time to really put all the pieces together!

  I bumped my rating up a little after thinking back on the movie. It was too long, too loud and too dark for me while in the theatre, but sits a little better now that I’m thinking back on it. The “babysitters” scene with Anora at the house had me chuckling.

  I guess I enjoy the rituals of the Catholic Church. Interesting watching the conclave process unfold; I remember watching on tv the smoke coming from the chimney at the Vatican for the popes elected during my lifetime. I like Stanley Tucci and I liked the other actors playing the other cardinals as well. Silly ending, but didn’t ruin it for me.

  Enjoyed watching this movie,  I even teared up during Ruby’s audition :). All families have their quirks and shortcomings, but as long as love is the driving force you hope all members will be mostly happy.
