This was beautiful, and so heartbreaking. It was also so refreshing. We barely see movies with older people as protagonists, let alone queer older people.
I loved it. It was intimate and real... I can't imagine how hard it must be for someone to live their whole lives shutting down a huge part of themselves. This threw me back to 2015, when that election happened. I'd been in Canada for over a year, and I remember listening to those results. The euphoria was real.
