Wow, this movie is just special. It has something mysthical you can't really describe.
Even the story itself is a very new style, I've never experienced. First of all this strange setting with people living under conditions like in the 19th century and then all these weird events that follow, almost like wonders, but you don't really know.
The exceptional mixture of realism and supernatural elements, especially in the second part, indeed reminds me of Pasolini.
The cinematography has a very nostalgic style. It was pretty enjoyable to watch. Love it.
