John cusack as Brian Wilson was a distractingly inaccurate casting off hairline alone
Young Mike love was a crazyyy good casting & Dano was great as young Brian even if he didn’t rlly look like him

really beautifully sequenced, not that notable a thing but loved the archival pictures/videos
love the way he would word things, very interesting dude and such a pure artist — not necessarily endorsing a pure artist’s life as the end all and he wasn’t a completely pure dude, but he really lived art
w/ that very interesting life, had no clue he was that much of a painter
me ass movie
didn’t have time to write anything til like 2 days after w/ moving and still don’t really have time, probably won’t be able to speak my thoughts well
but just a really beautiful looking and feeling movie
that girl was too young for that dude but, besides that, they had a really human relationship: not perfect, but maybe better in some ways because of it even if it might have made it not for the best for…
mostly liked even tho some parts felt a bit too convenient (think George michael in the studio and some record label guy is like I found this dude on the street today and the guy is like “I’ll see what I can do” and then undiscovered Kenny g plays the careless whisper solo)
thought Timothee was maybe not the award-winning bob dylan some people were making him out to be, but he looked actually a lot like him at times…
